| E-Z-EM is leading provider of medical products used by radiologists, gastroenterologists and speech-language pathologists primarily in screening for and diagnosing diseases and disorders of the GI tract. Products in this segment are used for CT imaging, colorectal cancer screening, evaluation of swallowing disorders (dysphagia), and testing for other diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal system.
E-Z-EM is also active in Healthcare Decontamination with its Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion (RSDL) product-a liquid skin decontaminant that breaks down chemical agents such as Sarin or VX in seconds, leaving a non-toxic liquid that can be washed away with water. The Company also leverages its capacities in manufacturing, automation and quality control by offering contract manufacturing to third-party businesses. |
