LoSo Prep™ |
|
| Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is often used to prepare
patients for optical colonoscopy. It is rigorous, distasteful,
and consistently cited by patients as the single most daunting
obstacle to compliance. Gentler cleansing regimens, such as E-Z-EM's LoSo
Prep, have been shown to cause fewer
side effects and disturbances to daily patient life than PEG, while
inviting improved compliance.1-3 |

low fibre diet with a low sodium, magnesium citrate cathartic vs.
a clear liquid diet with a standard sodium phosphate cathartic.

In recent studies, LoSo Prep, combined
with E-Z-EM's NutraPrep®*
Pre-procedure Meal Plan, demonstrated better colon cleansing
and patient compliance than both PEG and Phospho-soda®.
